Interested in joining our team?

Prospective graduate students:
Please follow the application guidelines and submit your application to the Graduate School of Princeton.

Prospective postdoctoral scholars:
Applicants with a very strong research background in at least one of the following areas are encouraged to email the PI to discuss potential collaborative opportunities:

1. Computational methods for mechanics (especially with rich experiences in building codes using low-level programming language and parallel computing);
2. Experimental characterization techniques (especially with rich experiences in optics and building setups from the ground up);
3. Granular (or soft matter) physics and mechanics (especially with rich experiences in theories that help drive the advancement of relevant computational and experimental techniques).

In your email, please attach your CV and a brief discussion of your fit for our lab. Please note that due to the large volume of emails received, the PI may not be able to respond to each one of them. And please do NOT send repeated emails.

You are also encouraged to reach out if you believe our lab is an ideal host for you through an externally funded fellowship (e.g., this and this).

Prospective visiting students/scholars:
Our lab currently does not have funded opportunities for visiting students and scholars, but please feel free to reach out if you already have secured funding sources and are interested in doing some science with us!
