Kunyu Yang

Kunyu Yang is an (incoming) postdoctoral research associate in the Li Research Group. Prior to joining Princeton, he was a postdoctoral researcher in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University.

​

He integrates experimental, numerical, and data-driven approaches to better connect fundamental understanding with practical engineering applications, and to develop sustainable, resilient, and adaptive civil infrastructure and earth energy systems. His research interests include geomechanics, geophysics, geostatistics, granular materials, and energy geotechnics.

​

In his spare time, he enjoys walking his dog, playing soccer, tennis, and swimming.
